We booked this hotel because it was the closest to the event we were headed to (EDC) The room was clean, the bed was comfortable with firm pillows, and there was enough storage space to put our clothes away and our luggage stowed away as well. There was a safe inside the room as well but we didn't need to use it.

The free parking for Nevada residents was a plus! The very helpful and friendly staff especially Payton and Jaydon who assisted us were very outgoing and really made our family feel welcomed to The Strat.

The room was comfortable, and you could walk up and down the strip with no issues. Close to some fast food places (right next door to Dennys) but also places to eat inside. The staff were friendly, and the self check in was ok with the excption. we still had to collect a key, unlike some places where you can get a digital key, which would eliminate that. The observation deck was nice and would have been amazing at night time, but we didn't have time for that, unfortunately. Can't comment on the other things the Strat has to offer as we were only there for one night and didn't get to do much.

The one thing we really loved was the pool, but it closed at 5PM every day which seems really silly given people are staying up later and the sun doesn’t even go down until 8pm.
